What I watch.. yep I'm addicted!

Last week when the Entertainment weekly came I got my clip board and made my yearly tv watching schedule. Now just so you understand what kind of serious tv watcher I am… we have a DVR capable of recording 2 shows and a TiVo which will record a third during the same time slot if need be.

Desperate Housewives-- Have never missed an episode. While critics will tell you the last season was a let down I disagree. I am looking forward to this season. I LOVE Dena Delany, from way back in the China Beach years.

Brothers & Sisters-- Love this show. It's like a version of my crazy family. It's just they live in nice houses and have LOTS more money!

Shark-- Can take or leave this show. It sits in the DRV until I chip away at everything else and it's the only thing left. I do like lawyer shows and this is usually one of the better ones.

Dexter-- If you have one choice you have to order Showtime and illegally download Big Love on HBO. Dexter is an great show! With Showtime you also get Weeds & Californication.

Simpsons-- this one is more for my husband and kids, but after all these years I do still laugh out loud.

Family Guy-- Much like The Simpsons this one is for my hubby. I fell asleep during the Star Wars episode last week.

CSI Miami-- Never miss. I love Horashio Cane, his looks, his sunglasses, hands on his hips... he so over the top campy. It's like a bloody soap opera.

K-Ville-- The first episode did nothing for me, I always give new shows 3 records. The second episode was better and the third is in the can. I'll get back to you on if this new show stays in my schedule.

Journeyman-- Loved the first Episode! The main actor was in the HBO short lived series Rome and he was great in that so I knew I would like Journeyman.

Chuck-- Loved the first Episode! This is the first new show of the season that my husband and 13 year old son will all watch together.

I am getting sucked into Dancing with the Stars, Damn it! That little Cheeta Girl might win it all!

Carpoolers -- Because Fred Goss and Sons & Daughters was a BRILLIANT Show, but I am worried about this show being it’s lead in is Cavemen!!

Boston Legal--I came along with Alan when he left "The Practice" If you only need one reason to watch this show it's Denny Crane played by William Shatner. He is over the top funny!

The Unit-- I find myself wishing the missions weren't so in depth and filled with top secret missions. I love the family aspect of the show.

Bones-- I have read every one of Kathy Reichs books. I think they are much better then the show but I do look forward to it each week.

House-- I love House for all the reasons that all other people do. Hugh Laurie is the best!

Nip Tuck-- Soap, over the top, hot guys, sexy stories... need I say more?

Pushing Daisies--Loved the first Episode

Private Practice--Not as good as Grey's but I gotta watch

Dirty Sexy Money-- May be my new favorite of the 07 season

Criminal Minds-- Am I going to keep watching after Mandy leaves? We'll see.

Life--Loved the first Episode

Bionic Woman-- Critics are loving this one, I liked it... it has to get better to keep me tuning in.

Ugly Betty-- This show is simply brilliant!

Grey’s-- E.R. Junior as my husband calls it

All of prime time NBC! Don't come in here are tell me how great "The Office" is. I know.. I have watched every episode (including the British version) I like Earl and Scrubs. It's probably the most fun night on tv.

Survivor China-- Not sure this is going to be a great season. I haven't found a cast member I can really like yet.

CSI-- Am I the only one who was rooting for Sarah to be dead?

General Hospital Night Shift (SoapNet) This show actually blows! I can't believe I am still watching it. Thank God it ends next week. My loyalty to ABC soaps runs far to deep!

Numb3ers-- Not the greatest procedural out there but it's one my son and I watch together. It's important to find things a teenager actually wants to do with his mother. Besides that little math wizz is dreamy!

Las Vegas--Loyalty to ABC soaps got me watching this one. Again it's so over the top and campy I can't turn away. I look forward to tuning in and seeing Tom Sellick!

Friday Night Lights (For my 13 yr old son)

Men in Trees--Fun Friday night show

Woman’s Murder Club (I’m a big James Patterson fan)

SNL & Mad TV get DVR records

I will also watch Medium and Lost when they start early next year.

Daily– TiVo records Oberman on MSNBC at 8 (If nothing else is getting recorded. We also record and watch The Daily Show & The Colbert Report Mon - Thurs.

Did you think I was done… Oh NO! My Tv addiction is much deeper than you thought. I also record and watch All My Children, One Life To Live & General Hospital each and every day. I have watched these shows since I was 5! Yes I remember Luke & Laura’s wedding! Now I don’t watch every minute of the 3 shows… I can get through all 3 hours in about an hour since I ff the stories that don’t interest me.

I freely admit I am a TV Addict, I make NO excuses for this. I am not 700 pounds, Richard Simmons has never come to my house to cut a hold in my wall to remove me in a horse trailer. I also have a part time job, work at my children’s school, read, knit and not to pat myself on the back I am a pretty good cook and baker. But in the end.. doing all these things that make me a good wife and mother I do make time for all this tv! I love it!
